<p>wow i got lucky then for randomly choosing revelle. cogsci falls under biology right?? it sounds interesting from what ive learned so far so im excited.</p>

<p>I asked because you say Revelle’s GEs are perfect for your major yet if you complete IGETC and you’re in any of the colleges but Revelle or ERC you are completely done with GEs upon transfer. It would seem to me for transfers that complete IGETC Revelle should be one of the last-choice colleges. Was there another reason you choose that college?</p>
<p>Oh allow me to elaborate, I completed the IGETC, and an insane load of other classes for the sake of my Biology lower division classes. In fact I actually completed a bunch of other classes on top of that which have nothing to do my major or the IGETC just for fun. I’ll have like 110 semester units after I’m done. Yeah I suppose it was kind of stupid to take so many, but it was worth it IMO. </p>
<p>What I meant to say was that Biology lower division courses match up well with Revelle GE reqs. CogSci doesn’t fall under Biology, but I think CogSci requires a bunch of calculus, chemistry, and biology too, which is also what Revelle GEs require. </p>
<p>Also yes, IGETC is TAG this year. Did you indicate TAG and IGETC on your application?</p>
<p>IGETC was TAG but you had to have your math and both english done by the end of fall term when you applied.</p>
<p>I would definitely be interested in living their next year, even though the prices do seem pretty steep. I am just worried because I have heard that it doesn’t look like it will be done by next fall. Has anyone heard a confirmation that they will be finished?</p>

<p>i remember saying that my igetc will be completed on my follow up that i sent before february but i dont remember mentioning it on the uc application. was there a place to say i was done with it besides the personal statements in the application?</p>

<p>Did you know UCSC has the same different college type of system? Neither does anyone else. Same thing goes with UCSD, people know the university but will have no idea what you’re talking about if you start talking about Muir or Revelle or w/e</p>
