UCSD transfer to UC Davis for Winter 2012

I am a declared communication major at UCSD (sixth college) and due to all of the AP classes I took in high school I am already a sophomore standing upon entering this fall. By Spring 2011 I will have finished all of my GE requirements and will have finished lower division requirements for my major. However during the summer I will be applying to transfer to UC Davis since it's closer to home. Does anyone know how the transfer process will affect the classes I need to take at Davis? I know that Davis has breath requirements (about 22 units) and I don't know how my GEs will transfer over. If I have further questions who do I call? Academic advising office of UC Davis? Thanks a bunch :)

To apply for junior transfer for Fall 2011, you would have needed to file an application this past November. Keep in mind that there is a unit cap for transfers from UCs and other 4-year colleges; you cannot exceed 120 quarter units prior to transfer or you will become ineligible for admission.

You should complete the general education and major prerequisite requirements at UCSD. The UC reciprocity agreement allows you to use the requirements from UCSD to fulfill the requirements at UCD.
