UCSD, UCB, UCSC, USC, and UCI

Hi, I go to a small charter school in San Diego, CA. Since my school is so small, it doesnt offer many classes. I have taken ALL the offered AP classes in both 10th and 11th grade. I am also enrolled in the full international baccelaureate program.

I am planning on declaring biology as my major at UCSD, UCSC, UCI, and USC.
I am applying undeclared at UCB

Be honest.

you'll be fine. berkley and usc are match/reach. you're a shoe in at the other schools. why havn't you taken the sat I?

I didnt do too well on the SAT I. I also felt that the ACT was a better match for me

how did you do on them though? i don't know what the deal is with the new sat and stuff, but i'm assuming you at least got 1650-1700

ehh, yeah, i got a 1660, which will not get me into any of the schools I want

ACT 30 w/other stats...

UCSD: Match
USC: Always hesistate in rating someone's chances here, but looks like match.

UCI: Likely admit
UCSC: Likely admit

UCSD: Slight Reach (semi-low SAT)
UCB: Reach (pretty much is with everyone, but ya never know)
USC: ehhh...
UCI/UCSC: Safety

san diego:

UCB: Reach
UCSD: Match
UCI: Safety
UCSC: Super Safety

I wouldnt submit my SAT score. I'd submit my ACT score, which is a 30

I think UCB and USC are going to be big reaches as would a bio major at UCSD. Unfortunately, aunts and cousins don't make you a legacy at USC. The mid tier UCs seem more realistic.

Also, thanks everyone.
