UCSD/UCI Countdown...

UCSD should be out around next weekend or the weekend after next and I am thinking UCI will be out either this tuesday or friday or the last week of March.

Who's ready to do this? So long coming it has been.

Here’s hoping for this Tuesday!

Im excited to hear from UCSD!

I tagged to SD so I hope I’m in the first few TAG batches there. I probably won’t hear from Irvine 'til April as they’ll probably let the taggers know first. Either way, it’s just a few weeks away.

March 19 I’m assuming some UCSD TAG applicants will be released.

Oh boy I can’t wait until April 20-30. Us non-tag’s will find out then.
Do you guys think they release by major? I remember last year Biology majors were notified of admission at the same time while sociology majors or poli sci majors were notified earlier.

It’s probably just non-impacted first, and then impacted last … since impacted majors require additional review.

So… late march, most straight-forward TAG results will be out (i.e., TAG apps to non-impacted majors). Then mid-April, non-TAG non-impacted, then late-April, impacted majors with high volume of applicants (i.e., biology). Finally, last will be rejections.

@asphyxiac
any idea where I can check which majors are impacted at ucsd?

uci this tuesday!!??!

in the uci website it says
“Transfer Applicants:
All transfer admission decisions will be posted electronically at MyAdmissionsApplication@UCI by April 30. Admitted students will receive an official letter sent to your current mailing address. All formal letters of notification will be mailed no later than May 1. A formal letter for denied students is available upon request.”

Apparently Uci releases every Tuesday until the end

Where did this every tuesday information come from?? I researched it and didn’t find anything to confirm it.

Got it from UCKittychen

lets just see, because I’m following a trend but bending certain rules because of differences between the years in which are involved in my trend. i actually believe that UCSD decisions for even non-tag’ers will be out this month, all the previous years, most people found out around mid march, and the latest i seen for UCI was late march.

if anyone MUST ask for my extensive detailed trend idea, I suppose you can request…putting up a disclaimer now, because I am not solidifying my hypothesis, but I AM sticking by it very firmly.

Ohh okay. I thought it was like something official. That’s cool that you are able to analyze it all that much!

not to mention, even sun said march 1

Yeah I knew the march 1st day because it’s on the UCI admissions calendar. Fingers crossed we start hearing back next week :)

Hope my TAG goes throughhhhhhhh :(

^Why the uncertainty? The requirements are made obvious by all the UCs, either you met the requirements by the end of Fall or you didn’t, which you should know by now. You know what classes you completed by Fall and you know what your GPA is, so you should know if you met the TAG requirements or not. The only question mark comes in maintaining the TAG GPA through the end of spring, which will have nothing to do with the upcoming decisions.
