Ucsd, ucsb, uci, ucd tag

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew how TAG acceptances are distributed. I know that there are requirements for each school such as UCSD requires specific things to be fulfilled in order for the TAG application to be accepted.

My question is: if you fulfill all the TAG requirements for a certain school, will you automatically be given guaranteed admission (assuming IGETC is completed as well) or is there still a chance you may not receive TAG for whatever reason the school has decided?

I'm just a little nervous because I did fulfill all the requirements for TAG, but I don't know whether I'll get it. Thanks.

just chill! if you met the requirements you get the TAG, if not then you dont. im certain you can always call and ask why they decided not to TAG you, if thats what their decision is.

Thank you! Sorry, I’m just a little paranoid…

If you fulfilled the TAG requirements, you’re in.

The only thing that could get you kicked out at this point is either dipping below the TAG required GPA or taking less than your in progress or planned courses (if these courses are pre-reqs, but in your case I’m assuming they’re not).

So congrats and maintain that GPA.

So when do the results come out of if our TAG was accepted or not?

BTW, last year I was accepted to UCSD, UCI, and UCSB. I decided to stay another year at my CC and try to shoot for UCLA. I thought I’d ask just for curiosity. Thanks.

In the confirmation email after submitting TAG, they said early October
