<p>You will pay much less for your in-state school. In terms of prestige/rank, UCSD definitely has the edge, but it is a competitive academic type with a weak sports scene. UIUC and Georgia are more balanced.</p>

Coming from someone in california, maybe, totally depends on geographical region though. The onjy UC’s people from my area know of are UCLA and UCB</p>
<p>Neither. Attend your in-state University. If I had to choose one from the three, I would go with Georgia Tech.</p>

<p>I am a out-of-state student, and I am wondering which school suits me better based on the environment and their academic programs. Also, I want to know if the general education is really that much in UCSD since I got admitted in ERC? Can someone who has taken the MMW courses give me some advice , I really want to know more about UCSD.</p>
