UCSD vs UC Davis. Facts & Opinions please!

Hello all,

I just got accepted as an undergrad transfer student to UCR, UCD, UCSD and UCI. Instead of being ecstatic (as I thought I would be) I'm overwhelmed and stressed out with my options!
So far I've pinned my options to either UCSD or UC Davis.
I've researched many posts (on various sites) regarding UCSD vs UCD but most of them are really old posts or regarding different majors so I though I'd ask for my specific situation.
Money is an issue! During my research I've come across people who say they got more financial aid in one school over the other. How can I know which school will offer me more aid? I haven't even done an SIR yet.

I got accepted into Revelle College for UCSD for a Human Biology major (never heard of this major before, tbh.)
I got accepted as a Biological Sciences major for UCD.

From (preferably unbiased) experience and knowledge, which university do you think I should choose?
My current factors include:
Atmosphere, costs, prestige, educational quality, major (human bio or bio sciences), competitiveness, safety, location*, work study and anything else you kind souls can think of. Even internet connection quality! My final goal is getting into a Medical school.

One major factor is the fact that I'm currently in Europe for medical reasons (terrible timing, I know) and I won't be able to visit any campus nor the cities themselves, San Diego and Davis.

I live with my parents in Irvine at the moment, so UCSD is about ~2 hours vs UCD's ~7 hours driving. I would need to rent/share an apartment either way. My car is also a very old gas guzzler.

Thank you very much for your time!

If they have not given financial aid offers, contact them to find out what they are, or when they will be made.

Will do, thanks. I assumed the financial aid system would be the same as college.

OP EDIT: I got accepted as Biological Sciences: Microbiology
