Hello!
So I got accepted to all three of these schools. Many people were saying its pretty obvious that UCSD is the top of my choices, however they become unsure when I explain that I want to be a physical therapist so the hands on approach of a CSU may be a better choice.
My grades are pretty good, but I’m scared that if I go to a harder school then I would face an unnecessarily large amount of competition. I also understand that I shouldn’t just take the easier route for the sake of it being easier but I don’t want my gpa to suffer due to the competition and diminish my chances of getting into grad school.
I got into UCSD as a Physiology and Neurobiology major in Marshall, UCI as a Ecological and Evolutionary science major (I plan to transfer to their Exercise Science major once I fulfill the prerequisites) and SDSU as a Kinesiology Pre Physical Therapy major and made it to SDSU’s Honors Program (which gets me the nicest dorm).
I’ve visited all 3 schools and liked UCI the best because it was more comfortable but I really liked the other schools as well. I can honestly see myself in all 3 places but I have to pick one. Any advice would be appreciated!
Also, cost of tuition isn’t an issue. I’m also instate, from the Bay Area
Go to the school that fits you best, academically/socially and financially. You do want a high GPA for the best chances to get into a PT program so pick a school where you can achieve this goal. You really cannot go wrong with any of your choices.
