What type of engineering are you looking at specifically?

I can’t speak for UCLA, but I think UCSD is pretty established in the engineering field. The faculty is pretty extensive so there is quite a few research opportunities available I believe. Also, we have a job fair filled with recruiters from engineering firms every quarter. Other than that, I can’t speak much about it and UCLA engineering should be pretty solid too.

Visit UCLA in both days. (UCLA day & Engineering day)
Engineering school is kept separately from UCLA campus.
Also Engineering school at UCLA is small - compare to UCSD.

My brother chose UCSD over UCLA.

ucsd is #3 nationwide for bioengineering, but in other engineering fields, it’s not bad. i would pick UCLA over UCSD for any engineering field except bioengineering or biomedical engineering

@distressstudent im thinking chemcial engineering. Btw, are you a UCSD engineering students?? If you are, ive got questions to ask you regarding to Global Ties program, Team Internship Program, Moxie Incubator program.
