Hello,
I applied to be a major in biology as a ccc transfer student to UCLA and UCSD. I love both campuses and their location. My GPA is 3.85 but I still need to complete a bio class, physics sequence. But i have completed general chem, math ( I am doing calc 3 now even though UCLA only requires calc 2) and my first semester of ochem. I know my chances arent as good for UCLA and I have already been admitted to UCSD as a major in human bio. Which school would be better for a bio major or are they comparable for this major? Thanks!!

I think UCSD is better for BIO.

ucsd is definitely better for bio. no question.

however, if you don’t plan to go to grad school, i feel like you still might get better job offers at ucla (better overall reputation).

Ya I agree but I do plan on either going to either grad school or medical school so im in this one for the long haul I guess.

bump…

2 years ago my friend was accepted to both for bio.

He choose ucsd and never regretted it.
