ucsd vs ucla undergrad research

I got accepted into both UCSD and UCLA as a psychology major. If I went to UCSD i'd be getting my BS in Psych, and UCLA only offers a BA. I've decided I want to pursue a phd in neuroscience. So i have a few questions: 1) I know that UCLA has better psychology rankings, but is this only from a clinical aspect? is UCSD better for science? 2) is a BA going to ruin my chances of getting into a neuroscience program. 3) which school offers the best research for undergraduates?

UCSD neuroscience is one of the top in the US.

This thread is perfect, I was just wondering the same thing except I’m in engineering. Can anybody please shed some light on which campus has more research opportunities?
