UCSD vs UCSB! Please help!

I’m currently very stuck between UCSD and UCSB. When I applied, I applied as a bio-engineering major; however, after further research I realized it’s easier to get the career that I wanted by being a chemical engineering major. But, this is different for nationally ranked bioengineering schools like UCSD.

But here’s my situation. I got admitted as a chemical engineering major at UCSB but only a biochem major at UCSD. I would want to try to transfer into bioengineering at UCSD but it’s extremely impacted and difficult. I liked UCSB’s campus and vibe slightly more than UCSD’s but the San Diego/La Jolla area has more internship companies and medical device companies, drug companies, etc.

Also, at the end of the day I’m not 100% set on doing engineering. Another very plausible major for me to go into is some type of business or communications. I know this all sounds like a big jumble with a bunch of indecision but any opinions or thoughts would help a lot. Thank you so much!
