Any comments about UCSD vs. USC Engineering?

one's cheaper. and one's graduate program is ranked higher. (go google, if you're into those kinds of numbers)

UCSD is cheaper and has better engineering programs.

Why do you think UCSD has better engineering programs? Are the engineering programs substantially better at UCSD? Also, UCSD is more expensive out of state compared to USC with merit aid.

Yea, for an out of state the UC's is probably gonna be more expensive than USC because USC gives really good financial aid.

yeah, but 95% of us are california residents. it's about time to make use of our taxpayer funds!

Engineering rankings -

Rankings vary depending on the specific engineering major. Generally, UCSD is a bit higher than USC but they're so close it probably doesn't matter.

Graduated USC biomedical engineering=>2 years of research=>1 year out still no job

Its better to go to trades school since bachelors degrees are all too common in our generation.

How safe to go to any UC engineering school vs USC Viterbi considering the budget cuts and all?
