The two schools are both very good!
As a student who wants to do researches or jobs on advertising and marketing, which school is a better choice?
UCSD has a very good position, but it does not have advertising or marketing major for undergraduate students. But I can major communication and economics or management. Students in ucsd also advice it.
UWM’s business college and arts college is very good. Advertising and marketing of it are both very good. But I get into the las, I don’t know if it is easy to change college and major. Also, it seems that UWM is very cold and I do not know whether I can adapt the weather there.
Could you give me some advice to help me to make a decision. Thank you!!! I will really appreciate that!

btw. I am not good at science, chem, physics and these kinds of subjects, and I will not take these areas in the future. Personally, I love UWM a little bit more, but the weather is really a big issue because I am easier to get sick if it is cold.
Also, I get into Roosevelt college of UCSD. GE of this college is very suitable for me because it does not need to take much subjects like science, chem or physics. Although some students said the MMW(making of the modern world) program of it is very hard, I am really interested in it. However, the majors I want to learn in UCSD is not very good.
So… it is really a hard decision!
Are both colleges within budget for your parents?
UCSD has the advantage of weather, certainly, but even though Madison is very cold, it’s also a winter (long winter) of bright blue skies, you’ll have the proper clothes, and you’ll handle it 
(dry cold doesn’t make you sick the way humid cold does.)
Advertising or marketing require a good statistics background. I’d recommend you take classes in that subject.
Are you in a “track” at q high school that has no math but lots of social science/literature?
There are other, better options. You could find a school with a more robust marketing program than UCSD and a warmer climate than UW (UWM is in Milwaukee, not Madison).
The cold will not make you sick. It will make you very cold. Wisconsin is beautiful, but once you get to December you will be cold until April.
I’d pick UCSD in a heartbeat because of the Wisconsin weather.
