I’m still on waitlist too… I committed to Purdue for Electrical Engineering but I really really would rather go to SD. I live in the LA area… damn the suspense is horrible… would suck to wait all the way until June 1st

About 4pm
I got an email at 5:47 pm saying my application status has been changed. I got off the waitlist. I was given undeclared and Revelle.
I got in! Oh my god, I’m so happy!
Those that were accepted from the waitlist, are you entering as freshmen or transfer? Congrats btw!

Did any of you who have gotten in from the wait list receive an e-mail telling you to check your portal? Also, had any of you recently called the admissions office and asked about the wait list or anything? Thank you in advance! And Congratulations!
@thisismyname1 I got an email saying that my application status changed, but at the bottom of the email, it also said “Congratulations…”. And no, I didn’t call the admissions office or anything. It was a nice surprise to see the email even though I will not be attending UCSD.
So only freshmen began to receive the updates from wait lists? I’m a transfer student who is waiting for wait list as well, but do freshmen and transfer students have the same schedule for wait list? Cause on my panel, UCSD said the they will updates “After June 1 and no later than July 1”.

No, for freshmen our portal said we would hear about waitlist decisions after May 1 but no later than June 1…still waiting on my decision
