I’m also waiting to hear back for CS. Feels like more than one person would have posted if they got in tho.
It should be in waves. If one person got in here, then there are more people out there who got in as well. I’m still waiting because I got no other offer, but I think they won’t need more people for CS
I have been accepted off the waitlist from another school so just sent an email to decline my offer of admission. I was accepted to the computer science major at warren college so I hope one of you take my spot!

I think so. I have enrolled in few classes for fall 2019 in my college, but still waiting for UCSD to release final decisions

I wouldn’t lose hope just yet you guys! Lets remember waitlists were released way later this year in comparison to previous years and there’s only been two drops so far and hopefully another one sooon!

For you guys and gals still holding out, are you not concerned about being able to find housing or prep for other schools if need be?
@tacoturnup Fortunately, I live in San Diego so I am not worried about housing. I am though still waiting to hear back about getting in as a Political Science major. Are you local? I feel like a lot of students that are local have not heard back.
I live in San Diego as well, so housing won’t be an issue for me if I get in.
@kaykapowski @AR P Originally from Wisconsin, but I’ve taken all my schooling at San Diego CC’s! I am also poli sci/international relations!! UCSD really is my top choice but I started getting comfortable with the thought of going to UCR
And I guess what I’m asking is, what happens if you don’t get in to UCSD? you’re not worried about finding housing in another city that you don’t know as well? :0 Not only housing, but you’re not worried about the transcript deadlines and all the other administrative stuff you’d have to do to transfer somewhere else? I mean if UCSD really stretches this out until the later half of July, lots of those deadlines for other UC’s will be already passed
does anyone Computer engineering or electrical engineering major get off the waitlist so far?
I don’t have any other offer. With a total gpa 3.9 and major gpa of 4.0, all I have got is being waitlisted in UCSD :D. That’s why I am not worried. I will take more courses and do TAG on UC merced or Santa Barbara next year if I don’t get off the waitlist.
