I have been accepted! I’m in state. I was accepted to Muir for poli sci. Gotta chat with my dad, but I’m 99% certain I’ll be turning them down so someone will get my spot!
Got accepted yesterday for Marshall Undeclared Social Sciences. I won’t be accepting because I got off the wait list for UCB (still waiting for UCLA).
Good luck to everyone! Keep in mind that this is only the fist wave and acceptances are supposed to come in all throughout the month! Don’t lose hope just because you weren’t notified immediately!
Seems like almost everyone is getting undeclared. I don’t know how to feel about that

@bigdreams23 The ‘welcome to UC San Diego message’ on your portal gives you both your college and major (or at least it did on my son’s portal).

The acceptances are most likely coming in waves so I would assume that yesterday wasn’t the only day @rancho27

I think being Undeclared off WL is just standard procedure. Other than CS/Eng majors most are not that hard to declare once you are in. I do sometimes wonder what’s UCSD thinking when they use so many undeclared admits (more than any other UC I think). Are they trying to trick some higher stat people into less popular majors?
Son got accepted off the waitlist yesterday, found out via the portal. Looked earlier in the day and usual “you’ve been waitlisted” message changed to the previous “thanks for applying” message - so we figured something was up. Looked an hour later (around 5PM West Coast, we’re in state) and got the “Welcome to UCSD” message. Thurgood Marshall, Marine Bio.
Now deciding on UCSD or Cal Poly (Env Management).

Yesterday at 4:40 PM (Pacific) I got an email telling me that I had great news on my admissions portal. I got in for Cognitive Science at UCSD from the waitlist! My first choice was computer science, but I guess I gotta work my ass off to transfer now (I heard you need like a 4.0 or something insane… :/). Anyway guys, it’s been a long time waiting and I wish the best of luck to everyone on the waitlist, and trust me there’ll probably be some more spots opening up in the coming days. Also for anyone curious, I checked the portal earlier in the day and it said “check back by march 30th for your decision” but a few hours later I was admitted. Good luck everyone – you can do it.
Anyone heard from UC Davis’s waitlist yet?
Also, has UCI released their waitlist results yet? I’d like to know my potential classmates lol. :-/
