I applied for undeclared physical science (I want to study chemical engineering, but I couldn’t find it for some reason lol) and I got on the waitlist… Looking at my stat now, I feel like I can’t make it :((

Unweighted GPA: 3.3821
Weighted GPA: 4.4377
SAT2 Chem: 780
SAT2 Math1: 780
SAT2 Math2: 800
AP Chem:4
- AP Chem 1st sem: C+ 2nd sem: B-
- Dropped AP Calc BC to AP Calc AB
I typed in my SAT2 scores when submitting the app, but never sent the official scores.
UCSD FAQ says that I should not send additional test scores, but they said I can challenge their decision with new information. Maybe I should send my SAT2 scores? I was also in car accident that year and has been seeing school social worker due to my personal problems. (I don’t know if they are going to care or anything.)
Anyone working on waitlist statement? I’m thinking about my role model, but he’s a UCLA professor (Dennis Hong), not UCSD so I need to come up with someone else 
or does anyone think it’s fine?
