congrats guys, raliem you really took some stress off my back. I have a similar gpa and applied to a less impacted major :)

so did you guys get an email or notification or did you just check the site?

**** YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

first college too, everyone check now!!

Still haven’t heard back… :(

no worries… you are guaranteed. I have like a 3.2, so if I got in i am sure as hell you did too. You’ll probably get your acceptance in a couple days, just hang out and enjoy life :)

where do you check?? do they an email or do you check somewhere on the tritonlink??

LOL thanks Sam I appreciate the confidence building post, but I’m still sweating bullets haha! It’s like that feeling that even though it’s guaranteed, I feel like something could have gone wrong. Just nerves I’m sure…I’ll keep you updated, congrats though everyone!! If I do get in, we should all discuss housing!

Congrats you guys! Where did you two check? Is there a link on the MyApplication site, or does it just say it when you log in?

Last night, I went to a welcome dance at UCSD for new freshmen and transfers. (The bf got in for fall, so I thought I might as well go). It was quite fun! There were a lot of people there actually. I don’t understand what people mean when they say UCSD isn’t social, these people sure seemed social to me!

This whole week there is a bunch of welcome things for new UCSD students. I wonder if we will get anything like that for Winter?

I’m guessing no welcome week in winter since we are juniors and not freshmen, but maybe some small transfer thing? But yeah I just signed on and saw a new homepage with a picture of the giesel library saying I have been admitted. If you see that you are in… no email or anything, so check everyday. I was surprised that I was accepted this early. Try not to worry so much, everyone who applied TAG in fall got in and my stats are borderline and I got in sooo its safe to say you guys got in too haha :)

Congrats you guys for getting in… I just checked mine and nothing yet, I’m super stressed!! I hope I hear back soon =/

Don’t worry queen, apparently the decisions are given out for different majors on different days. I applied as a Political Science major, what was yours?

I wonder if it’s alphabetical by last name?!

I’m a poli sci major too! =D

Yes yes yes!!!

Dear Eugene,

On behalf of the faculty, staff and students of the University of California, San Diego, I congratulate you on your admission to Revelle College as a major in Physiology & Neuroscience! UC San Diego is one of the nation’s outstanding universities, and we look forward to welcoming you to our campus.

Again, congratulations and welcome!

I’m getting worried… I hope I get in!

Congrats to everyone who has gotten in so far! :)

I have my fingers crossed for you JuneBug and others that are still waiting. I don’t know if it helps, but I’m an older nontrad applicant, 8 years prior Air Force, just under a 3.5 gpa with a lower science gpa, well over 100 units, and totally rushed my essays on my application. Those last two really had me worried.

How rude of me…congratulations to all the incoming UCSD Winter 2010 Admits.

congrats leaftye, physiology and neuroscience sounds intense! are you premed? try not to stress everyone, they said it was a rolling basis… everyone has gotten in so far, so it looks promising :)

Yep, I’m premed. That’s not why I’m taking that major. I really should take an easier major, but I’ve spent the last 13 years wanting to devote a big part of my life towards learning a lot about this field. After fulfilling my major requirements I intend to take some graduate classes to fulfill my upper division unit requirement.

Hopefully I didn’t stress anyone with my stats. I don’t talk stats with many people, but I usually get blown away when I do. I think this will be a very happy thread for all since we’ve already seen that UCSD is delivering on their promises.

sooooo worried after hearing so many of u had aleady got admited…

did you guys applied like in the begining of july or something?

and how do they notify you? they send u an email?
