<p>Im curious, did those of you who have been accepted submit your application updates right away?</p>
<p>To answer your question xancer, I submitted my application at 10:31 PM at July 31st, so I would think when you submitted your application is irrevalent. They don’t notify you by e-mail, you have to check yourself on the tritonlink homepage. I’m still waiting for UCSC, but i’ll probably go for UCSD because I heard it has a great Bioengineering program. </p>
<p>Personally I think if you have at least a 3.0 GPA and a non-impacted major, you’ll have a good chance to get in. Again good luck with the rest of you that haven’t heard from UCSD yet.</p>

<p>never heard any message from SD,but after check my ucsd account last morning, I saw a welcome letter. never receive any mail from sd, but UCR did sent me a housing book```</p>
<p>no its when you log into mytriton link, you click on the housing application tab on the left sidebar, and it’ll come up with a message saying you can apply or something like that…</p>
<p>My friend applied as a Physiology & Neuroscience major and she still hasn’t heard from SD, so I don’t think it’s by major.</p>
<p>It might be based on how quickly you submitted your application update…or it’s completely random.</p>

<p>i had to retake some classes from doing really bad my first semester and i puts my gpa well over the TAG 3.0 and i have IGTEC. UCSD said that they include the most recent passing grade(academic renewal) so do you think that i will get in, i did apply to UCR and UCSC also an i really just want some place to go next quarter.
I also applied for a science major but i did my pre-reqs for econ but do not see a good future for that major and i love science way more. my question is that the school said as long as you complete tag you are admitted to pre-major status until you complete the pre-reqs for that major with a competitive gpa for the program you apply for, is that accurate?</p>

<p>Treverp, yes, they only look at the most recent grade with academic renewal, so no worries there. If you didn’t make a mistake in your application, I’ll pretty much guarantee that you’re in. </p>
<p>Also, remember to check through myapplication.ucsd.edu, not the standard tritonlink.</p>
