<p>UCSD has the beach and the city and the weather - even though it's somewhat anti social, it is a great area to be in nonetheless</p>
<p>It's a great school esp. for biology because when you have Francis Crick, father of DNA teaching classes at UCSD. It's got to be something special.</p>
<p>Technics256, I'm majoring in EE also and would definitely choose UCSD over UCSB. I'm thinking about specializing in communications and Qualcomm is big over there in San Diego. In fact, the Jacobs School of Engineering is named after Dr. Irwin Mark Jacobs, the chairman and CEO of Qualcomm. So it may be easier to land an internship with a communications company there in San Diego.</p>
