Your academic numbers are just about in matching with typical average for admitted students to UCSD. Your EC's are OK. Where do you stand out? Consider re-taking the SATs in October/November to see if you can boost your scores. UCSD gets about 40,000+ applications a year. If you visit their website, you will see that they have a specific way of assigning point values to determine admissions. Go to the UC website and calculate your UC GPA (based on soph/junior year grades, plus weighted points for up to 8 semesters (4 courses) of AP and Honors courses. Good luck!

UCSD--average UC GPA (weighted for academic only during sophomore and junior years with honors capped at 8) is around 3.98--with SAT's around 1880.

You're 4.0 (roughly) with SAT's of 2060 and good SAT IIs. Your ECs are good, so assuming you are a California resident

Also, consider this: I want to major in biomedical engineering. I heard that that subject is really competitive, so would I be able to get that? Or should I knock it down to just biology or something?
