<p>I'm curious to know, what were your scores/grades/extracurriculars/etc. when you were accepted to UCSD? I'm applying, but I'd like to know what the statistics of the students accepted there were.</p>

<p>If it helps, I can provide my own information as well:</p>

<p>SAT I: 2020 (660 CR, 720 M, 640 W -- 8 essay)
SAT II: 710 US History, 720 Math II
ACT: 30 (composite)
GPA: 4.42 weighted, 3.92 unweighted</p>

<p>Approximately 500+ hours of community service, volunteered at multiple other places as well, several other extracurriculars.</p>

<p>I'd truly appreciate it if you could provide the same information (if not more) of your own scores, etc. The more specific the better! Thank you!</p>

I got Accepted to UCSD and UCLA, but rejected from UCB</p>

*ELC for Class of 20’15 is different from the ELC of Class of 2016+ [ours is top 4%, yours is top 9%, so i dont know how this plays out overall]</p>

<p>INeedaBreak, you lack the ec’s, but have a nice GPA. I’d say you have a good shot though.
gorehpakoreh, your GPA is low, but you have a good SAT and EC’s. I’d say your chance is lower than INeedAbreak, but you still have a chance at this school.</p>

<p>This was for entry to Fall 2006, so numbers have been increasing a lot since then.</p>

<p>UC GPA: 3.3X (unweighted was around 2.98 or something)
SAT: 2280 (800 Math, forgot the rest);
SAT2 Math: 800, SAT2 History: 7XX</p>

<p>AP (like 7 of them, 5s on Calc AB and BC, only one 2 on AP Chem; rest were 3s and 4s)
IB Diploma (7s on History HL and Spanish HL; 5s and 6s on other 4 tests)</p>

2 jobs + tutoring for ~10 hours/week

<p>Essays: Think it was pretty good after changing it around a few times; hardships in life and all that… I think strong essays will invoke emotions from the reader, so if you read your essay and feel sad or whatever - it is good</p>

<p>If I was didn’t do much in HS and still got in, then I think everyone else has a good chance to get in</p>
