<p>UCSF is a graduate level medical school in the UC system.</p>
<p>thus in short its harder to get into than all other uc?</p>
<p>High schoolers can not apply to ucsf because it is a graduate school for the health sciences. As far as graduate admissions go, YES it is very difficult to get in.</p>

<p>flopsy, UC Hastings College of Law is very much part of the UC system. Though it has a chancellor and dean, it just isn't a separate university like UCSF.</p>
