Hi guys, can you guys take a chance at me if I will get in. Based on my mediocre statistics, I am pretty nervous and I am going to apply extremely early. UD has now become test optional for in-state students for the 2016-2017 application and I feel that because of this, it will be harder to compete with in-staters. So here my statistics:
Weighted GPA: 3.4100(didn’t get a single A in my junior year besides B lol and the rest were just a bunch of B’s and B+'s)
SAT Score(NEW):1330/1600 with 11/24 on the essay. 720(math) + 610(reading)
Volunteer Hours: 150+ with over 85 hours in a hospital
Unweighted GPA: Will not be released by our school.
Class Rank: Will not be released by our school.
Status: in-state resident
School: Very highly notable high school in the nation (even though I do not represent it, lol.)
Major: Biology
Activities: Symphonic Band(1 yr.), Robotics(1 yr.), Track(1 yr.), Chess Club(3 years)
AP’s: AP Stats(3)
Honors: Organic Chem(B)
By looking at this, you guys honestly must be laughing and SAT went test optional but I definitely want to send my score in. Is it possible that I can get into UD. NOTE: I am applying and probably sending everything in during August because 1 MP of senior year doesn’t make up your 3 years of work.
I think you have a great chance, especially as an in-state student
I just got in out of state with a 2.85 unweighted. You’re fine
I would say with in-state you are good
