Thanks!!

chancing someone is hard, since so many different variables come into play when deciding if & how much merit money to give to a potential student. i can’t tell you your chances, but i can tell you my information & how much money i got, and you can compare yourself to me… hope this helps!

female, out of state (NJ)
SAT: 640cr, 670m, 680w (1990 out of 2400)
course load: took 1 AP course in 10th grade, 1 AP in 11th grade, and 4 AP in 12th grade. all other classes were honors-level.
SAT subject tests: 690 on math 2, 790 on US history
extra-curricular: national honor society, rotary interact (community service club) – exec board & public relations manager, spanish club, volunteered at local hospital

i applied to the honors program and was accepted. i received a community service scholars award in the amount of $10,500 per year. this wasn’t exactly an academic scholarship, but i definitely think my grades helped me get this scholarship. in addition to just plain merit/academic scholarships (which usually are in the amount of $2000-4000), they have scholarships for leadership, community service, and music. good luck!

I too am wondering how much they will offer me. I am from NY. Delaware and Cornell are the last colleges I haven’t heard from yet. Both are saying decisions won’t come out for another month, ugh…

Does anyone know what date the decisions will be mailed out on from the University of Delaware? Large envelope accepted? Small rejected? Can you be wait listed? Thanks

On their website they said letters will be mailed out mid-march
