I would appreciate your thoughts on my decision to go to the University of Delaware or Miami University (Ohio). I was accepted to nine schools including some large state schools (UMD and IU) and some small liberal arts colleges (Union) but I like the size and feel of Miami and Delaware better. I am from the suburbs of New York and I expect to major in business. Strong academics and a fun social scene are both important to me. I am in favor of Delaware's location, more out of state students, and based on students accepted from my high school it appears to be more competitive this year. I am in favor of Miami's much higher ranked undergraduate business school and a stronger greek system but it has much fewer out of state students and is harder to get to. The May 1 deadline is fast approaching.
Help please.

Which is cheaper?

It looks to me like you really prefer Miami U Ohio. Don't worry so much about the number of OOS students. Someone with a car will be able to get you to transportation home. Someone with a car will probably even be able to drive you home in exchange for the adventure of visiting New York. Someone who lives in Ohio will have a mother/grandmother/aunt/big sister who will take pity on you as a poor stranded OOS student and will be happy to serve you all the turkey you want to eat at Thanksgiving time.

All the best!
