<p>I am having a hard time deciding between University of Delaware and Elon University (NC). I just recently visited both and I'm still having trouble deciding. Can anyone help me and give me insight into either school??</p>
<p>We were in the same situation with those two schools. Daughter picked Elon over UDel. Having one daughter already a sophomore at Elon, I wasn’t sure if I wanted them at the same school, but after experiencing Elon, I realized it was too hard not to have my younger daughter decide on Elon,as well. It is an amazing school. The students love it there and truly define their motto of “engaged learning” we have found the Elon students to be passionate and committed to learning. They are typically involved in many activities, and truly seem to want to " make a difference" . My older daughter (sophomore) has found the academics challenging but stimulating. It does seem that everyone can find their own “niches” at Elon. I truly believe that Elon is the " total package" and each year it is becoming more prestigious . Hope this helps!!</p>
<p>I have spent a lot of time in Elon, NC (I live in NC). If you’ve visited and you think that Burlington is okay, then go there.</p>
<p>Elon has a great reputation in the northeast. I have never heard anything about UDel one way or the other.</p>
<p>Elon is regarded as a very subpar school where I live. I don’t think it is a very good school, but if you like it there, then attend.</p>
