<p>Which school is more prestigious, offers more post-grad oppurtunities, better environment, etc?</p>

<p>It really depends on what is important to you. Prestige is so subjective, unless you're going to an Ivy. The campus environments are very different. UD is more of old brick/green grass type place in a small city where UMASS is more modern concrete appearing in a fairly isolated area. If you're a chemical engineer, UD is clearly more prestigious. UD (71) is overall ranked higher than UMASS (96) by USNWR. Not many people in MA know much about UD and vice versa. UD has it over UMASS although they are both public schools, UD is much less government controlled. You just don't see the same state government political BS at UD.</p>
