In our experience, the MechE at udel is not a powerhouse for post grad recruiting, civil may be a little better. Between Stevens and Udel, Stevens has the edge on hiring, don’t know enough about Vtech. Only about 25% of Udel ME’s had jobs secured by month 6 after graduation. If grad school is the goal, go to the least expensive.
Now for the intangibles, the atmosphere at Udel is energetic and fun.

VTech has exceptional internship and hands on opportunities for their engineers starting as freshmen. It is one of the top recruited schools in the country for engineers (5th, I believe) and hosts the second largest engineers jobs fair (where companies PAY to be there and it sells out!) in the country. I believe we were just given the stat that approx 85% (at least) of VT engineers had jobs or grad school lined up by graduation. Going off the top of my head; may have actually been an even higher statistic. Great school spirit and sense of community. Def worth serious consideration.
