Stephanie!! congrats!!! Did you transfer from a CC with an AA? Or university?

azngujuonfire - yea all my prereqs complete, I won’t have my AA until the end of Fall, but this is ok.

Congrats Stephanie! Whats your major and what college are you at? By the way have you gotten anything in the mail yet? I’m still waiting… I swear this school takes forever! lol

azngujuonfire- Thank you! I’ll be receiving my AA at the end of this semester from a CC :)

colombianito69- Thank you as well!! My major is English (CLAS), looking into an emphasis on creative writing or film studies. Lol no, I haven’t gotten anything in the mail yet! I found out Friday I was accepted and so I’m expecting something to be coming in probably around next week or so? Since you were accepted a few days before, maybe you’ll get something soon!

colombianito69:

have you received your UF package in the mail yet?

umm all i’ve recieved is my acceptance letter. I think that’s all i’m gonna get… I’ve used the website and ISIS to help me get all other needed info. You should just check out the website to continue the process.

yeah I’ve gone ahead and completed other steps from the website. But I have yet to receive any actual hard copy letter in the mail; so I’ll be calling soon if I don’t see anything soon. So you say you’ve only gotten a hard copy acceptance letter? or you meant the online unofficial acceptance?

yea i received my hard copy in the mail. PM and i’ll give you the info for who to contact.

Did anyone apply to CALS? If anyone did, I would like to hear your stats. I applied to CALS as a biology major. I have a 3.65 gpa and all A’s in my prereqs. I applied to UF in the Fall 2011. I am planning to bring my gpa to a 3.8 by the end of summer of 2011.

This semester I am taking
PreCalc
Chem I
Chem I Lab
Comp II
Humanities Age of Reasoning

I have high A’s in all my classes
I will receive my AA degree Fall 2010.

Thanks.

I thought UF was not accepting ANY sophmore/freshmen transfers? Help please! I really want to transfer as a freshman from UNC Chapel Hill

And I got in as a Freshman for the fall and only recently (a month and a half ago) cancelledy my admission in order to attend UNC

They aren’t, only junior level applicants with their AA degree will be considered as transfers.

I just read all of these, and you all could be long gone by now… seems as though they were posted about a year ago. Anyways, can you transfer to UF in a summer term?

I applied in January to the College of Public health and Health professions at UF as a health science major. I had to apply to the university and then apply to the college and write a letter of intent. I will have my AA from a state college at the end of the spring semester and have a 3.72 gpa. I still havent heard back! I was accepted to UCF but I really want to go to UF. Does anyone know anything about this program? It looks really difficult to get into and I am really nervous. I have taken all the required course work and have some hospital experience but not extensive : /

How many extra curricular activities do I need?
I moved to FL from NH alone and right out of HS. Now I am trying to transfer into the Advertising program at UF and I’m worried already that I wont be accepted due to the fact that I don’t have many EC besides work. I’ve worked my butt off to get where I am. Thoughts/suggestions anyone?
