UF accounting (Fisher)

Is anyone here familiar with the University of Florida's accounting program? I'm mainly concerned with job placement after graduation and how it compares with other prominent programs.

Big 4 firms recruit from major universities. UF is a major university. Accounting curriculums are fairly standard across various schools. Job placement should not be an issue.

UF certainly has a very strong Accounting program (Top 10 according to Public Accounting Report magazine) and its graduates' pass rate on the CPA Exam has been traditionally twice as high as the national average according to its Wikipedia

Yes, the Fisher School of Accounting is very good. I am enrolled in the school and the professors are great and the curriculum is pretty challenging. A new building was constructed to hold the Fisher classes and office in back in 2004 and is unbelievably nice. If you like accounting/finance/business it is your best bet at UF.

The business school has high marks for its academic experience, ranking higher than Harvard, Stanford, Yale, and Northwestern on Princeton Review -

Pointless ranking, especially considering the other schools don't have undergraduate business schools.

Haha. You people crack me up.
