UF Admission for Fall 2011 Chances

Hey, I was hoping I could get some feedback on my chances of getting into UF, my first choice for the school of journalism.
I'll be a senior this upcoming fall and will be applying by the end of August. I really want to know from past applicants (both accepted and denied) what they're experience with UF's admission was like (ie: their test scores, gpa, etc)

Thank you so much!

The UW GPA will hurt you, but they do recalculate all the GPA’s and put in weights for honors and AP’s, but a lot of public schools in FL have students with 6.8 GPA’s which is why they do this. Your ACT is solid and your EC’s could be better but seem pretty good, especially all the service. The summer programs at UF are HUGE for them.

I’d say your chances are pretty good! High match maybe?
But, in-state or out of state?

I’m in state (Fort Lauderdale area)

I’m also first generation and my brother currently goes to UF for computer engineering.
