UF Admissions - 3 year graduate

Ok, so here is a part on the application.

Freshman First time in college

Freshman please select your graduation option:

Four-year traditional high school graduate
Three-year high school graduate ------------------------- THIS IS me.
High school/Associate of Arts graduate -or-
60+ semester hours of dual-enrollment credits
Home-school/nontraditional graduate
GED equivalency diploma

Is this going to hurt my application chances? I'm graduating high school in three years.

Also, when selecting a major, does it hurt to put "Undecided"?

I know that the major you pick doesn’t affect admission decisions. For the other, I am unsure.

if you have the same amount of credits/courses as normal people, then i don’t see how it can.

but staying another year and having more credits than normal people, that can’t hurt you no matter how you look at it.

i’m not sure about the 3yr option. however, you should pick a major. i heard it from an UF rep that putting undecided can and most likely hurt you, they want students who have an idea of what they want to go in, even if they are going to change majors later on. so pick a major.

I heard the same thing from a reputable source - definitely pick a major. I also don’t think the three year option will hurt you.
