I thank everyone for their replies and although I may be 100 % incorrect, in my heart, I honestly believe that UF “unofficially” bends over backwards to assist the public school applicants at the expense of private school applicants.

<p>UF may “bend over backwards” to assist public school applicants, but private universities (especially those in the top 20) “bend over backwards” to assist private school applicants – who else would be able to afford their ridiculous tuition rates?</p>
