@Gator88NE Very interesting! Was just having this discussion with an admissions professional. With IB the student is required to take 4-5 IB classes per semester–how many students load their schedule like that when AP is the option? Many do for sure knowing they are aiming at elite admissions but many students will choose 2 AP a year…whereas their IB counterparts are required to take a heavier load. So the study seems to suggest if you take an AP load similar to an IB schedule the results are similar…?? Interesting
anyone have any clue when scholarships and stuff come out?
Five Nat. Merit Semi-Finalists from my school (in-state) this year were rejected and all of them had over 33 ACT and 1450 SAT. Meanwhile I know other kids who got below an 1100 SAT and were accepted. Makes no sense.
wow! Were their UF recalculated GPA comparable to the freshman profile from last year? 4.3-4.5. Just curious.
Can someone who got accepted see if they can get on their “website created just for you”?
When I click on the #UF22 link now it goes to a page that says: “You don’t have permission to access /UF22/ on this server.” Just wondering if this is the case for everyone.
Thanks!
its the same for me.
Same for my D. Also, she hasn’t received the Florida Days Registration email that is supposed to come today. Have others received it?
Has anyone gotten the gatorlink email yet?
My D and her friend have not received the email yet.
My son hasn’t received his yet either. I don’t think the acceptance page said it would come today. Just in the next few days.
@astnvila You won’t be able to register for Florida Days until next Monday anyway: http://www.admissions.ufl.edu/enroll/fldays
@anna2018 Thanks Anna! Must be a glitch somewhere.
Good catch! Thank you! We are getting ahead of ourselves! We looked at the Florida Days page several times and still thought it was today. Not sure what the delay is though with the email.
D got her email late last night but log in didn’t work. She’ll try a few times today and if it still doesn’t work she’ll contact the help desk.
My son was able to log in and get his GatorLink ID. The #UF22 link is still down, tho, on the acceptance page.
Got email today and was able to log in. Link to website broken. As for all the analysis, there is no formula. You win some, you lose some. The rejection keeps them grounded.
Question about Gatorlink. went thru the steps of making a password and selecting how name would appear but then when try to log on again… is the user name what was selected from choices or the UF ID from before (all numbers)?
@OldLady21 The username is what was selected.
When you click on the link on the email it asks for a UF ID and an invitation code, where do I get the invitation code?
nvm^
Hello, where do I find my UF ID?
guys i logged into gatorlink but it gave me an error saying my ufl email can not be found.
