Does anyone know anything about the Honors College requiring all incoming freshmen to take a common honors course in the spring? Format, subject, class size, anything?

Thanks for the information!

The Honors College is going to make us take a mandatory 2 credit course called “The Poetics of Justice” in the Spring. Unfortunately, they didn’t tell us much more than that at Preview.

Ew, that sounds horrible.

If you google, this comes up: [Common Course Syllabus - University of Florida Honors Program](http://www.honors.ufl.edu/common-course-syllabus.aspx)

It at least gives you an approximate syllabus, even if the site is meant for those who were applying to be peer leaders and not for those taking the class. From my understanding, it would be large lecture with the professor and then a small discussion once a week with a student TA. It’s a pretty standard format for large lecture classes.
