I was wondering if anyone around here has experiences with the creative writing track at undergraduate UF.

I'm interested in it, but I have a couple questions:

How difficult is it to get into creative writing classes/workshops?

Is it possible to take creative writing courses as a minor?

How prestigious is the program? What success do alumni from the program have?

What resources and connections does the program have? (For internships, connections with publishing companies, etc.)

If it helps, I'm interested in doing internships with publishers and studies abroad. My ideal career would be that of a novelist, haha, but I'm also interested in non-profit business, editing/publishing, and marketing.

I'm comparing it a lot with FSU, who gave me a lot of money and let me into their honors. I'm also interested in business, but both have pretty equal programs in that. At this point, comparing these two programs will make my decision.
