First question is: The application for the minority mentor program says to put my permanent address which I’m assuming is my parents address and local address which I’m assuming is my dorm room. What would I put for my local address? Both the room number and address of the dormitory?

Second Question: Sort of pertains to the first. How does mail work in dorm? Does everyone get a box?

So, suppose you have the address 33040801 Fletcher Hall. 330-is the number for that dorm, 408-is the room number and also tell what floor/section you live in, and 01 tells what position in the room you are in, also important when you live in a dorm that has different mailboxes for each resident (e.g jennings, broward). So to answer you question you would put the 8 digit number plus the dorm you are in. Gainesville, FL 32612

All letters will go in your mailbox. Depending on what dorm area you're in, you either share a mailbox or have one for yourself. All large packages from fedex, usps, ups, etc come to the front desk and the RA/DA will log it in. Once logged in they are suppose to put a blue slip in your little wooden box so you know you have a package. In some areas, the clerk will email and tell you that you have a package, but it not necessary for them to do.

he means depends which dorm building you're in. ie jennings has a dorm number then a 1 or a 2. ie lets say your dorm number is 314, your mail box will say 314-1 or 314-2 for individual mailboxes. some dorms just have a 314 and you and your roomate sort out the mail
