UF dorms: Yulee/Reid vs Fletcher/Sledd

I can’t decide whether I’d prefer to stay in Yulee/Reid or Fletcher/Sledd (I put the slash because from what I’ve read they’re essentially the same except for the two LLCs: correct me if I’m wrong).

I’m an incoming freshman for Fall 2015. I’m not a a super social person, hence I don’t want to stay in Broward or Rawlings. I’m not antisocial, but I prefer to have a smaller group of close friends opposed to going to a giant party with tons of people. Will I still meet a decent amount of people if I stay in Fletcher/Sledd? I’ve heard because these are more private, you don’t meet as many people. The dorms there seem nicer though. I believe I will become close to people in my major (architecture) since it’s a pretty small community.

Maybe if someone could make a pro/con list for these two, I’d reaaaally appreciate it

Sorry, cant help you with those choices. But have you considered the Graham area. Nice part of campus, next to Flavet Field, and very near the Hume garage if you’ll have a car.Traditional dorms with community bathrooms. Graham Oasis is good and I think I read it will be on the meal plan next year. It took a few weeks but my son made some very good friends there. He was in Trusler.

@oldbull2 No I wasn’t too interested in the Graham area because it’s a little more West than what I preferred. I haven’t completely ruled it out, but the other dorms are closer to the Architecture building. Thanks for the input, though
