Where do you go to see your UF email?

https://webmail.ufl.edu/

It can also be configured as an IMAP account through an e-mail program like Outlook or Thunderbird, if you’re into that sort of thing. I found directions on how to do that somewhere and could probably walk someone through it if necessary.

Also note that webmail is being replaced this summer:

Thanks for the links. I meant to write email address.

I was also wondering this same thing - where do you create your UFL e-mail address?

My account was accessible after I completed Preview Prep online. Have you registered for a preview session yet?

WoodyAllen: Your e-mail address is your GatorLink ID at ufl.edu. It can’t be changed, unless you can somehow figure out a way to change your GatorLink ID, which I haven’t looked into. The records office would probably have to do that, and they probably won’t.

I didn’t know your UFL e-mail address was:

gatorlink [at] ufl.edu

Otherwise I would have made a better Gatorlink when I made it during senior year of high school just not even thinking to check my status of my application. Learning I got denied, I had to do 2 years of community college and then transfer. I got accepted as a transfer student for Fall 2013 and now I’m stuck with the same Gatorlink. Great… :P

So I guess there’s definitely no way to change your Gatorlink / [at] ufl.edu e-mail address.

I did register for Preview. Thanks again, I didn’t know that the gatorlink would be used.

I believe your email is actually created as soon as you create a Gatorlink username. I accessed my email long before I was accepted. Once you attend preview, you’ll see you’re going to use your Gatorlink username and password a lot, so try to memorize it or keep it on hand for preview. You’ll need it to sign up for classes.
