<p>I'm very nervous about these schools because everyone is "expecting" me to get in. Ik how important gpa and class rank are to uf. What do you think?</p>

<p>Iove that’s no gpa calc :confused: the 5.04 is on a 6 point scale. Those are gpa’s from my high school, not the uf gpa calculator</p>

<p>My uf gpa is a 4.5 (assuming bio 2, Chem 2, calculus, Spanish 3) are calculated as honors classes</p>

<p>Okay if your true FL gpa is above the 4.3 range on a 4.0 scale and with a 1980 sat, then welcome to gator country.</p>

<p>Ilove thanks for responding. The reason my uw is low is because of those C’s I mentioned and quite a few B-B+. My weighted is high because I’ve only taken honors/ap classes except for 2 yrs of Spanish and health.</p>

<p>I guess I’m just fretting for no reason as last year rank 35- at my school were accepted to uf. I’ve been reading too many horror stories on CC lol</p>

<p>You have a good chance. No guarantees, that’s usually the mistake people make in these chance me’s, but I think you have a great shot. GPA is good, scores are good, rank is good, bring founder of debate team is VERY good. Essay is super important, but your application given that you had some leader-like elements in the essay, should make you look like a leader to the eyes of admissions. If that happens, you’re pretty much in.</p>

<p>And don’t take CC seriously, I noticed you mentioned horror stories and all…look, I’ll be frank, this site is kind of a joke in terms of accuracy of info and authenticity of various claims. I and several others do our best to try to make so that it’s a bit more accurate around here, but overall, CC is full of too much speculation and drama</p>

<p>lol yes you can easily go from 3.79 to a 5.04.</p>

<p>Source: The girl in my HS’ graduating class last year with UW 3.95 and W 6.68. Got into MIT. She had been dual enrolling since 7th grade.</p>

My school has a 5.0 weighted, 4.0 unweighted.</p>
