<p>DiGamma23- Yes, at UF, EC's count a lot. If an applicant apply's early and has over a 1350 SAT/4.0 GPA then it may not matter as much, but for RD1 and RD2 they have a huge immensely qualified applicant pool so they have changed the admissions process somewhat in recent years. They review each application both academically (GPA and SAT's) and holistically (EC's, essays). They have been known to reject seemingly perfect candidates. Most of the kids in my area who apply to UF supplement their applications with 5-6 page "resumes" of thier EC's.</p>
