Uf Gpa

What kind of GPA should one need to maintain to remain competitive on the national graduate school admissions scene?

I recognize that each discipline is different, so I will clarify further.

I am going to major in Applied Mathematics and my lifelong dream is to be a doctor. However, if that doesn't work out, I want to do International Business/Banking/Investing. So, basically, get my MBA, sell my soul, and get really, really rich.

If I want to go the med school route, I know the GPA requirement is stringent, but based on my major choice, can someone give me an approximation, or a range.

What about for biz school?

In addition, what are some of the hardest and some of the easiest majors at UF?

At most schools, Marketing/Psychology would be among the easiest, Economics would be the median ground, and Physics/Chem/Math would be the hardest.
However, at say, UChicago, Econ is one of the hardest as well as Psychology and Chemistry is..."sorta" hard.

Thanks in advance.

For Biz School (MBA), work-experience is generally one of the main factors in admissions (along with your GMAT score & GPA).

Economics programs at various schools differ a bit. Some may be more quantitative while others are qualitative. Since I'm in the same boat as you (incoming freshman), I'm not exactly sure which side UF's econ program leans on, or whether it's a healthy balance of both.
