UF Housing Contract problem

Hello,

Last night I followed the instructions for my charge to appear under the "My Charges" tab in the UFL menu. I just paid my $200 pre-rent a few hours ago. Now, when I try to access the contract itself (where you select which hall, room type, and roommate preference) it states that my contract is "being held" because the pay for the charge has not been fully processed. My question is:

Since the first groups due date is the 28th, today, (but I read from the site that it is actually extended until the 29th), I'm worried that my pay won't be processed in time for me to fill out my contract and send it before the deadline. Does the University base the cut-off when I submit the $200 pre-rent or when I submit the Preference contract? If it is the former, then I get to maintain my first group housing status, if the latter, I'm worried I will miss the deadline. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I can’t say for sure, but I think you should be ok because when we filled out my son’s contract, it said that we could change our preferences up until May 1.

It allowed me to access the preferences before I even put down my $200, so you may want to call housing and confirm something isn’t wrong.

Have you guys been accepted yet?

Decision day was February 10th
