Okay, some of these stats may be a little off but this generally where I'm at.
(out of state)
GPA (uw): 3.7
AP Tests: AP Lang (4), AP Govt (4), Macroecon (3)
-Also taking AP Physics, Biology and Lit next year.
Honors: Geometry, Biology, English I, English II
DE: Pre-calc

SAT: 1920 (r: 680, m: 630, w: 610)

I also took the ACT, which I believe I got a 29 on.

ECs:
Competitive horseback rider: which also led me into 20-50 community service hours at Horses Help, which is a therepeutic horse center for children with disabilities.
Mock Trial: Our team for mock trial won state against 20 teams this year, I was also nominated by court judges to be on the All-State team due to performance. We are currently in the process of preparing for nationals.
SOFS: Society of Female Scholars Club--a community service club. Also an "honorary member" (4+ activites per semester)
Hospital: volunteered at the front desk of a local hospital for 50+ hours this past summer

Chance me? I'll chance you as well.

Schools:

University of Florida
USF
UCF
FSU
New College

UF: Chances of getting in are okay…UF has gotten EXTREMELY hard to get into in recent years. I was rejected last year with a 30 on my ACT but GPA was not very good. A 4.0 is almost average with UF but your EC will help you big time! I’d say stay positive about UF but don’t be upset if you don’t get in…most people have that outcome.

USF: I go to USF right now and you’re definitely on your way to get in if you keep you continue your hard work!

UCF: Same as USF.

FSU: I’m currently trying to transfer to FSU but I know it is pretty competitive. Easier to get into than UF but I’m sure with your GPA and test scores you will have a very, very good chance!

New College:…I would knock this off your list. You would be a better fit at the other schools.

I am originally from the Tallahassee area and have spent many days on the FSU campus. I also know many people who have attended the school that have nowhere near the grades or ECs you do. Maybe I have missed something, but I think you’re fine.
