Uf or rosehulman

hi sorry for the bad grammar and what not but im in a hurry so...

hi again and to be straight foward i wish to major in engineering , although unsure as what field but narrowed it down to aerospace and mechanical eng.

i wanted to go to GA tech but was rejected....*sigh

but oh well..... anyway i was however, thankfully, accepted to Rose hulman and UF. and my question is which school should i attend.

UF offers a low college cost and i live in florida, also have prepaid florida college making it even cheaper. also a party school so i know that it is a sociable college and i know ill have fun there (assuming drunks wont fighting me and stuff lol). however the idea of not having a job after graduating with a degree is disheartning and have seen many degree holders from that that still have no jobs for even about 3 years.

Rose hulman is located in IN, somewhat a high tuition, and hear socially it is somewhat dead, and extremely difficult academic.HOWEVER, the idea that if i do successfully pass the grade then ill have many job opportunities open to me and not have to worry about looking around (rose is known to have job fair and usually there are more employers than there are students there looking to be employees). btw the idea of hard work doesnt turn me off.

i want to go to college for education and have a job but at same time have some fun...i dont wanna work in my room forever and lock up cause well....college is suppose to be one the best time of ur life...next to high school.

also i have been thinking about ultimately get a bach degree, have a job to pay off any debt and same time transfer to a different college of higher ranking...like MIT to get that master's. and again the colleges are in conflict... im afraid of UF not looking good on my transcript to compete to mit cause well...

Rose hulman is ranked #1 for undergraduate engineering program, regarded highly by thomas sowell, and regarded to be higher than UCLA and other colleges when transferring, and apparently no student of Rose has ever been denied wen applying to transfer to a medical school (so by that statistics i can transfer to harvard and be nearly guaranteed a spot there assuming i do well) and ranked around 30ish for overall college for engineering (MIT and others like Stanford at #1-10) while UF is only at 40.

is UF really respected by the engineering firms and should i go there and risk to transfer with UF under my name??

You are completely under-valuing UF’s engineering programs, which, next to GaTech, are the best in the southeast. Since you mention aerospace, you might be interested to learn that Lockheed considers UF a key school…while Rose Hulman is not. If you do well,at UF you will not be limited in grad school… options in the slighest. If you prefer Rose for personal fit…that’s fine…but I think your perception of relative quality of the programs is distorted.
