I know I’ve posted before, but in Spring 2017 I will be able to transfer to UF because I have finished all my prerequisites (I’m a finance major hoping to transfer to UF’s business school). I’m currently at a private university in FL and have a 3.9 overall GPA. In all 7 of my prerequisite business courses I’ve received an A except for in stats where I received an AB (88-91%). I had a semester long forensic accounting internship, I’m the team lead at the restaurant I work in, I’m in a panhellenic sorority, and I’m spending my Fall 2016 semester abroad in Rome at an American university (which is why I can’t transfer earlier).
The only issue is, I came in to college with 20 credits from HS and am a semester ahead, so technically I will be at senior level in Spring '17 and UF doesn’t accept senior level transfers. I think I have 64 residential credits that I got at my current institution. Does UF count high school credits when accepting transfers? I’m really scared I won’t be eligible. Also does my track record sound good for me to get accepted or no? I know it’s competitive-wish I’d gone when I got accepted the first time.
