@sadindiankid Yeah I guess that’s true. I’m in the same position as you, even though I thought I could be clever by turning in the SSTP form as late as possible. I have 8 days left to decide, but I’ll probably defer. Btw, I agree with @esperantist, YSP is definitely more prestigious than SSTP. Why do you think otherwise?
@warrior05 I thought I could be clever too, but I was accepted pretty quickly…not sure what to do now because I’m still waiting for YSP. If I get into YSP, I’m definitely going. I’m most likely just going to defer SSTP.

The roommate experience, field trips, and overall vibe of the program. I’m also curious about how many people got published following/during the program.
I’m also wondering about how people approached food. Did most people cook their own, bring from home, or eat out?
I would assume not bring from home as 4 weeks of food at a time is a lot.
I don’t know if anyone was published during using the program but I’m sure it has happened after the program. Depends what kind of lab you are put in I think
