UF still # 49 in USNWR

So much for the gloom & doom.

The top publics haven't really moved that much except for UT-Austin (dropped a bit). Also, I don't see UC-Irvine on that list. Did I miss it?

Irvine was mistakenly omitted from the list. They happen to be at #44. There seems to be a big cluster of schools ranked at #35, #41, and #44. Means next year there are going to be some shuffling for those schools because it's not likely they will be tied again.

xNYer, I'll try to go to the bookstore this weekend and see if the new magazines are out so we could dissect the numbers.

Ya, don't believe everything you read in the Alligator. They side with the faculty 10/10 over the administration. However I'll be the first to admit that we do not pay our professors enough money at UF. Still they cried wolf to scare the bejesus out of the legislature.
